Our Landlord Report 2025/2026 is Now Available

We have published our Landlord Report for 2025/2026, which shows how we performed over the past year.

The report compares our results with the Scottish average, using figures from our Annual Return on the Charter, and with our own results from last year. It covers the services we deliver through Argyll Community Housing Association (ACHA) and our subsidiary, Argyll Homes for All (AHFA). This includes repairs and maintenance, keeping homes safe, neighbourhood and estate management, access to housing and support, how we use tenants’ rent, and our factoring service for owners.

You can read the report here.

In her welcome, Chair Cathy Grant, who is in her final year in the role, says:

“We recognise that performance statistics tell only part of the story, and there is always room for improvement. We remain committed to working closely with our customers, stakeholders and partners to ensure we continue to improve our services and deliver the best possible outcomes for our tenants and communities.”

Some highlights

  • 92% of tenants are satisfied with our overall service, against a Scottish average of 87.6%
  • 97.1% of tenants feel we are good at keeping them informed, against 88.07% across Scotland
  • 99.2% are satisfied with the opportunities to take part in our decisions, against 88.1%
  • 97.7% of reactive repairs were completed right first time, our highest ever
  • We answered Stage 1 complaints in 3.8 days on average and Stage 2 complaints in 15.74 days, against Scottish averages of 5.4 and 28.7 days
  • Our Welfare Rights team helped 1,657 tenants, with a total client gain of £4.3m
  • We let 441 homes and installed 266 adaptations, up from 208 the year before

Where we need to do better

We are open about where we have more to do. More of our homes now meet the Scottish Housing Quality Standard, up from 79.3% to 87.3%, but this is still below the Scottish average of 89.5%. Non-emergency repairs and adaptations are taking longer than we would like. We are working with AHFA and our contractors to bring those times down.
