The Scottish Housing Regulator has revised their Directory of Social Landlords.

The Directory is held on the Regulator`s website and local authority landlord. It will now be easier for any member of the public to find out more about a specific landlord, including contact details, profile of the landlord’s houses, landlord reports and RSL annual accounts. The Directory includes information from the Regulator’s RSL Register, plus additional details for local authorities. Its simplified search options allow searching by A-Z or by local authority area.

Argyll and Bute Womens Aid

Argyll & Bute Women’s Aid provide a free and confidential service. Call them for information, support and, if needed a safe place to stay.

Domestic abuse is the physical, mental and/or sexual abuse of a woman by someone with whom she is or has been in a relationship.
You don’t have to put up with it. Argyll & Bute Women’s Aid can help.

They have workers located throughout Argyll and Bute. You can contact them 24 hours a day from 9am Monday to 5pm Friday on 0870 241 3548. At weekends the answer phone will tell you where to get emergency help. They can be emailed at argyllwomensaid@btconnect.com.

The service is free and confidential. Argyll & Bute Women’s Aid can provide information and support. They also have refuges, safe houses at secret addresses with support available.

The Three Villages Hall

The Three Villages Hall, completed in 2010, is situated in Arrochar on the A814 road to Helensburgh. The Hall acts as a vibrant local hub for the three villages and also the wider community. A place for groups to meet: karate, photography, scouts, lunch clubs, indoor bowls and table tennis, to name a few. The Hall provides an active programme of events all year round, from concerts and theatrical performances, to book clubs and art classes. A fully equipped gym and a local Heritage Society Room offer additional facilities for locals and visitors alike. The Hall is also a place where you can hold family gatherings: wedding receptions, christening parties, birthday and anniversary celebrations.
