AGM information

2020 Annual General Meeting

ACHA's AGM was held virtually on Thursday 17th September 2020.

Amongst the business undertaken was the Chairperson's formal report on the activities of the Association in the previous year, presentation and adoption of Group Annual Accounts for 2019/20, external Auditor's opinion and the appointment of Alexander Sloan, Chartered Accountants as ACHA's auditors for 2020/21.

The AGM also appointed the Board of Management;

Tenant Members appointed were Cameron Grant, Ian McIntyre, David Carmichael, Pat McVey, Nancy MacDonald, Cathy Grant, Which leaves 4 tenant member vacancies on the Board of Management.

Independent Members appointed were Jim Milne, Bruce Marshall, Betty Rhodick, Brian Tester and Sonja Aitken

Members were advised the Argyll and Bute Council nominees were Councillors Roddy McCuish, Iain Shonny Paterson and Donnie MacMillan

A vote of thanks was given to ACHA's outgoing Chair, Jim Milne MBE by Councillor Roddy McCuish on behalf of all governing body members, staff and share members for his excellent leadership over the last 5 years.

Alastair MacGregor, ACHA's Chief Executive commented:

"I am delighted that in these difficult Covid 19 circumstances we were able to hold the Association's Annual General Meeting and get the appropriate business carried out. Could I thank all the members who participated in the meeting and took the time to support the Association in these challenging times".

Following the close of the AGM, the annual Direct Debt prize draw took place with the winner of the vouchers being announced as Mr R & Mrs J Morton from Bowmore.
