Domestic abuse
Domestic abuse is the physical, mental and/or sexual abuse of
a woman by someone with whom she is or has been in a relationship. You don’t have to put up with it. Argyll & Bute Women’s Aid can help.
They have workers located throughout Argyll and Bute. You can
contact them 24 hours a day from 9am Monday to 5pm Friday on 0870 241
3548. At weekends the answer phone will tell you where to get emergency
help. They can be emailed at argyllwomensaid@btconnect.com.
The service is free and confidential. Argyll & Bute
Women’s Aid can provide information and support. They also have
refuges, safe houses at secret addresses with support available.
