Rent Consultation 2026/27
Each year we consult you, our tenants, on the rent we are considering charging for the following year. We listen to, value and act on the views of our tenants and we encourage you to share your thoughts on the proposed rent increase. All responses to the consultation will be considered by the Association’s Board of Management who will use what you have told us to inform their decision on the rent increase for April 2026 at their meeting in February 2026. Alongside the work on our draft budget for 2026/27, we are consulting you on a rent increase of 4.5% to take effect from 1st April 2026. Increasing rents is not a decision taken lightly and the consultation document explains why this is the lowest increase possible to maintain the current level of service and spend on your homes.
Our 2026/27 Rent Consultation is now underway and all tenant’s should soon receive the document by post. If you do not have the document this can also be viewed at https://www.acha.co.uk/news-rent-consultation/
Returns can be submitted via Survey Monkey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/PTD9TPR , or alternatively by post, email, in person or by calling 0800 028 2755 (details are within the Rent Consultation document). Please ensure that we receive your response by Friday 12th December 2025.
Each fully completed response will be entered in to a prize draw with the chance to win one of five £100 shopping vouchers.
