ACHA’s Modern Apprentices Will Earn as They Learn
Argyll Community Housing Association is investing in the future of its workforce by offering three paid Modern Apprentice vacancies to young people across Argyll.
The four-year apprenticeships give candidates the chance to obtain a recognised qualification, as well as gain valuable work experience and receive a competitive salary.
Apprenticeships are available in three different areas:
Housing and neighbourhood services – which could be based anywhere in Argyll
Construction and technical – based in Lochgilphead
Corporate Services – based in Helensburgh
Chief Executive Alastair MacGregor said, “Not all school leavers want to go to college or university and even new graduates can find it hard getting a job without work-based training and experience. We’re offering a four-year apprenticeship to three young people, that will lead to a nationally recognised qualification, as well as the opportunity to gain work experience and transferable skills. Our apprentices will earn as they learn.”
The new apprentices will spend at least 10% of their time working towards apprenticeship accreditation and the rest of the time with their team, doing a real job. More details about all of the roles are available on the recruitment section of ACHA’s website www.acha.co.uk.
