ACHA Renews its Commitment to Tenant Participation

Argyll Community Housing Association recently strengthened its commitment to involving tenants in all that it does in the newly updated Tenant Participation Strategy.

Released at the same time, the updated Get Involved leaflet highlights the engagement options that are available to tenants across Argyll. There are options to suit all & many do not involve a lot of commitments on the individual’s time.

Both documents are now available on our website (www.acha.co.uk) or at any of our Local offices.

Argyll Community Housing Association believe engaging tenants is vital to building thriving communities.

Tenants can choose their own level of involvement. Life membership costs only one pound & members can vote at our Annual general meeting. Other options include activities such as joining the Tenant Consultation Register, our Your Voice Scrutiny group ,forming or becoming a member of your local Tenant and Resident Association, the Tenants Panel or even being elected to the ACHA Board or Area Committees..

Christine Gannon, ACHA’s Director of Housing & Neighbourhood Services commented.” We really want to encourage as many tenants as possible to get involved with ACHA and really appreciate their feedback. By becoming involved tenants have a stronger voice in how we run things and access to learning more about our work.”

If you would like more information on any of the ways you can get involved with ACHA further information is available by contacting our communications team at communications@acha.co.uk or your local ACHA office.
