ACHA holds its fourteenth AGM

Argyll Community Housing Association, ACHA, held its fourteenth AGM virtually due to the current Covid 19 pandemic. It involved members participating via Skype.

The Association's AGM business of hearing the Chairman, Jim Milne MBE's report was followed by approval of the Group's annual accounts, the appointment of Board members and the appointment of auditors.

At a Board meeting following the AGM, the Association's Office Bearers for the coming year were appointed. The new Chair of ACHA is Councillor Roddy McCuish from Oban, the Vice-Chair is Jim Milne MBE from Garelochhead, the Company Secretary is Cathy Grant from Glendaruel, and Chair of Audit is Ian McIntyre from Oban.

Alastair MacGregor, ACHA's Chief Executive commented,

"I am really grateful to all of the Association's members and the staff team who pulled together the AGM this year in such unique circumstances and we were able to give a full report to our members and get the necessary approvals carried out"

The Association's new Chair, Councillor Roddy McCuish added,

"It's an honour to be confirmed as Chair of ACHA. I am fortunate that I inherit a hardworking dedicated staff and Board of Directors. Good quality housing a basic human right. ACHA will continue to provide this though continued investment right throughout Argyll and Bute."

He further added,

"I look forward to increased partnership working with all those interested in affordable housing."
