ACHA Continues To Provide Safe Play Areas

Argyll Community Housing Association (ACHA) is due to complete two new play parks in its new build housing development at Glenshellach, Oban, which will have 107 homes when it is completed in October 2019.

The Association has also recently completed a modern play park in its 32 unit new built in the village of Connel just outside Oban and in its 40 unit new build in Bowmore on Islay. The Association has also completed a number of other play parks in the Oban, Lorn and Isles area, in Dunbeg, Soroba, Salen and North Connel.

Alistair MacGregor, ACHA's Chief Executive commented:

"It is very important that our work not only involves housing but safe areas where children can play. The Association's work in this area is very important and we currently have 30 play parks throughout our stock in Argyll and Bute. We are also proactively building play parks as part of our new build housing programme to ensure that parents have facilities for their children to exercise and play in"
